and peep the page here:

In other news, we’ve lost a great talent and it is indeed a very sad day for anyone that new him. The person that I’m talking about is Eric Laufer from the Two Timin’ Four. He was 25 years old when he was struck fatally that evening in a motor cycle incident. The motorcycle crashed to the frontage road below the expressway.Eric was a great singer and will be missed by many.

Here’s what I found on a local Texas news site about the incident:

A North Austin motorcycle collision on U.S. Hwy. 183 killed the rider and left his motorcycle on the frontage road — a mile away from where his body was found.
Police say Eric Laufer, 25, died at the scene. Laufer was the lead vocalist for Two Timin’ Four, an Austin music band. The motorcycle was traveling northbound at the time of the crash. It happened around 4 a.m. Thursday, just east of Burnet Road on U.S. 183. Investigators are now looking for the vehicle they say struck the motorcycle and then left the scene. The victim was wearing a helmet and other protective gear.

if ANYONE saw anything or knows anything at all please contact the police. WE need to get this person and prosecute them for killing someone.

There will be something organized in Austin to honor Erics legacy within the coming weeks so if anyone is interested in helping out write an email to

Also if anyone is interested in donating anything to help Erics family with expenses there will be a paypal account set up today, also if you would like to send flowers or attend the funeral it will be in Buffalo, NY, this monday. I will do my best to keep everyone up to date as what the situation is with all of that.

Moving on into more lighthearted territory, we have an exclusive interview with Vic Victor of the Koffin Kats at the following link:

…and in other KK news, the band needs some more east coast gigs ! Here’s the scoop right from Brother Vic himself:

Heres a fun way to start the tour!

So were running into a snag.

Were doing a run with our brothers The Doomsdayers http://www. myspace. com/thedoomsdayers and we have no luck finding gigs in cities like PHILLY, WILMINGTON DE, SCRANTON? Sure!!

We are booked for Brooklyn on 9/23 and Asbury Park on 9/26. Basically we are looking for clubs or promoters to book us for ANYPLACE that is in the region but not too close to the already posted shows. Like and hour away at least.

We need to fill 9/24 9/25 & 9/27

We prefer ALL AGES gigs but at this point well take what we can get!

Yeah.. we want to play ATLANTA AND SAN FRANCISCO ! Yeah we want to play MEMPHIS! We want to play a lot of places but its a pain in the dick finding someplace to book us! So heres a list of more dates we could use some help with!

9/30 Charleston SC w/ The Doomsdayers

10/5 Gainesville FL

10/6 – 10/9 Atlanta? Memphis? anywhere in that region

Please help Devil Sits Shotgun welcome their brand new bass player Charlie ! There isn’t a solid piece of info on the guy, but if DSS accepts him, then he’s a damn good fella’.

Shoot em’ a message here:

Speaking of new bass players…post-alterna-punks, Soda X, featuring ex-Horrorpops go-go Kamilla Vanilla, have located and implemented a second guitar player. Here is what was said about their new player, ACE !

After several months of searching, we’re happy to announce that we’ve found the missing piece to the SODA X puzzle.

Our new second guitarist is Ace Von Johnson. Many of you will already be familiar with Ace for his guitar work with bands such as US Bombs, Duane Peters’ Gunfight and the Generators.

His unique style has already made a great fit with Soda X and we’re looking forward to getting to work on some new songs with Ace to show you why we’re so excited to have him joining us!

Please stop by our page and show him some LOVE!!!!

while your on their page, be sure to check out their blog section to read some interviews with the band.

By now I’m pretty sure that everyone knows about the Video Nasties / Limit Club….Nasty Club tour that’s been going on. Well, there’s been broken down rigs and the such that’s been preventing this tour from going down, and now here’s the worst of it, right from Mr. Nick Feratu’s mouth:

There was a car accident involving the tour vehicles that both bands were touring in. The vehicles are in really rough shape and are now in the shop getting repaired. As a result, we had to cancel our appearance in Anaheim last Sunday and we will not be able to make it to the Santa Cruz show at Coaster’s Bowling Alley and the San Francisco show at Fat City. We’re going to try our damnedest to make the Las Vegas show. We’ll keep everyone updated.

Everyone seems to be in okay shape. There are some aching backs and sore bones, but I think we’ll live.

We are truly sorry for not being able to make it to the shows in Anaheim, San Francisco and Santa Cruz. We hate canceling shows (especially road shows!) and we know how much work it is for everyone – bands, venues, promoters and FANS to get a really good show together. So we apologize for wasting everyone’s time. We are sorry for this unfortunate turn of events, but we promise we will come back again. We will bounce back even stronger.

See you guys again soon!

Nick Feratu

Can you please go give these guys some love and make sure they are ok ?
